This is 2nd shift position working Monday to Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am. The hourly rate of pay is $20.43.

The Tile Carrier operates and ensures a mounting line is supplied with tile.

Major Functions and Scope:

  • Feeds finished tile onto conveyers to fill mounting boards.
  • Keeps tile mounters stocked with pattern or replacement tile.
  • Empties scrap boxes as necessary.
  • Removes empty skids and boxes from line.
  • Desands tile as needed.
  • Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
  • Follows standard operating and safety procedures and wears required personal protective equipment.
  • Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Education & Knowledge:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 0 -1 year previous manufacturing/production experience.

  • Good listening skills.
  • Accurate measurement capability. 
  • Ability to understand and speak basic English.
  • Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner. 
  • Ability to differentiate between colors.
